Hi, a lot of advice given here suggest getting a girl over to your place or hers. Where I live, it's really expensive to manage to get a place of your own while still being able to afford the basics. Most people around this area either live with their family, or live with a partner.

Obviously, when starting out with a girl, taking her straight back to where your parents are is difficult and can be very awkward. The same as going to her place where her family live. Anyone have any advice as to what alternatives that could be used in these situations? I know a hotel would be an option, but not the best one when starting out with someone.

You should probably include your age with this question.

26. Pretty old to still be living at home I know, but I live in the UK and houses here are expensive to buy and rent. Cheaper homes are conveniantly given to the benefit takers or young parents

Get a better job so you make more money, at age 26 its time to get serious about life so if i were in your spot i would do whatever it takes (work 2 jobs if needed) to afford my own place. In every country there are places where houses are cheaper.

Also most girls don't find it attractive if you still live with your parents at 26 so step it up!

OR

chill at her place / car / hotel

That fact will not turn her away from you, where you live is irrelevant to attraction. I do suggest, you get into business. Read some books first, then figure out if it's for you. Chances are that it is.

HOW I TURNED $1,000 INTO $1 MILLION IN MY SPARE TIME by William Nickerson

Also, google "100 best business books".

Then you can move out, and do as you wish.

If you're 26 you should be having plans of fixing that problem real soon.

Houses and rent are expensive everywhere in the world. That's no excuse. When I was in college rent was 40% of my monthly income. I survived.

Get a roommate. And work towards a career that allows you to sustain rent without feeling it.

Yeah it's deffinately one of my priorities going forward. I have a stable job and working towards a proffesional qualification that should make it easier to afford.

Along with this though, I do have other goals so I will need to find the right balance so I can do all of them

Good, a "proffesional" dick sucker.
