I'm sure we've all been there - you meet a girl IRL and get on ok then start messaging and she sends back short and/or disinterested responses. My question is, how do you handle this?
To give you some context, I met a girl a few days ago IRL and got on ok. We started Facebook messaging (so not instant, time between each message). She has responded to all messages but answers are getting shorter and less engaged. I'm sure we've all had this plenty of times. So, what do you do about it?
(1) Keep ploughing through and hope she gets more engaged.
(2) Change topic and come back with energy.
(3) Drop out of touch and hit her up in a few days with something new.
(4) Drop out of touch and wait for her to reconnect or until you see her IRL again.
(5) Something else??
If I knew the girl was invested in a friendship/relationship, I'd be able to handle it more easily but I'm interested to see what others do at this stage of an interaction.
So you first talked to her face to face. Then online. IMO, if things went IRL as well as you think they did, stop trying to excite her online, and just ask her to meet you again.
