This might be a dumb question, idk. I've been out of game for several years now, and getting back into it. One of my main concerns however is how militant feminism has been in such a rise over the past few years. I remember when I started doing game, PUA and especially Daygame was still popular and fairly mainstream (the height of Simple Pickup before they sold out), and feminism was still about gender equality overall vs. supremacy. Now, the media has systemically attacked both the lifestyle and its members. Several guys have been banned from countries and thrown under the bus. Not to mention the pervasiveness of gender politics as a mainstream item used to differentiate different groups and political ideas.

I've been wondering, what has been the effect of these social changes? Has it been harder to do game in major cities since the media demonization of our hobby? Are less people doing game now as a consequence (maybe making it even easier since its no longer so transparent)?

When approaching, have you noticed any increased hostility, or has anyone done anything against you on social media or whatnot as a consequence of approaching one of these militant types?

Or is the media just this silly bubble of only crazy extremist minority and most normal folk haven't changed their mindset?

For my scenario, I live in NYC, and I've seen several feminists in my building alone (the ones who cried when Trump got elected thinking they won't be able to get abortions anymore...).

This is a serious post BTW. I might be watching too much Youtube vids tho on the subject as of late. So if its completely irrelevant let me know. Thanks!

No.

Feminism is a great thing. You just have to have the stronger frame. As you should. Any value system that empowers a sex or race is inherently good, and anyone opposed to it is a cretin.

It sounds like you've been listening to too much right wing radio, and not reading enough.

Don't make up lame excuses and paranoid conspiracy theories because your game sucks. Get fit, and half the problems go away.

I fucked two feminists at the same time earlier this week. I dominated them, despite all the female empowerment slogans on the apartment walls. Why? Because in the bedroom, even feminists want a dominant male. And outside of the bedroom, they want one with a brain.

Read. Explore. Hit the gym. Do not parrot idiotic talking points from dubious media sources. Explore. Evolve. And in the end, bang feminists.

It's one more flag to filter out the nutjobs.

So yes, it has affected it in a positive way.

It's not complete hyperbole as it sounds: There's been several PUAs who've been publicly 'shamed' by the media. Was visiting Montreal last year on a short Canada backpacking trip and there were literally street protests about Roosh (who yeah, he's a hack, but still...) just coming to visit the city (probably some overpriced tour). The media over there couldn't stop talking about it, even though there were just about maybe 100 at most marching (they were right in front of my hostel on St Catherine. Very noisy buggers). I even had some girl at the hostel I was at lecture me about pickup when I said I used to do it. Or how RSD Julian was banned from multiple countries during his tour. Not long after, the craziness of Gamergate came into play.

Not getting into the politics of it all, but I think its gone beyond the fray on that end. Actually, I've been watching liberal sources that are mostly discontent with how things are turning out. How gender, race and blame is being constantly used to distance legitimate concerns and issues over the past 2 years, and are forgetting about the core values of progressivism. It's not as if this is convincing me of some grand revelation. Been noticing it a lot over the years especially when I read feminine aligned media (like Buzzfeed, Salon, HuffPo). Just haven't paid much attention to how grand and far its gotten. I could PM you for a much more detailed discussion. Don't wana write a long essay in this thread as it'll likely get moved.

Just curious if anyone has experienced any issues. FYI, I get outside plenty. Just been focusing way too much of my time on career to do game (worked 70+hrs including weekends for almost 2 years), and now can kick back a bit and aim for a LTR now that I'm in a good place now.

Yeah, that stuff can be annoying, but it shouldn't effect your outcomes with women.

I would agree with that. Progressives swapped out economic issues for identity politics, and it hurt them. Sanders was focused on economic issues.

Either way, as long as you apply the same foundational rules, you an overcome any political differences with women:

1. Fitness
2. Emotionally-centered (not over texting, not needy, not having "talks" all the time etc).
3. Playful, fun, chill and slightly aloof.
4. Good in bed.
5. Confidence, leadership, dominance.

I ll keep it short...the feminism made me have an even BETTER GAME ! Because I think it is part of evolution we humains adapt to the situation...I m living in an extreemly feminist country (even RSD can not come here to give free seminars) and my game is on point...why ? Because of the fear technology...The more with cope with difficult situations the better we become...in the past I went on dates with hardcore feminists just to get better I knew that the escalation was gping to be fucking hard I remember one date I tried to kiss the girl like maybe 10 times...but as I said putting ypurself in difficulty works...pick up is a learning PROCESS...

Feminism has zero impact on meeting and closing women. End thread.

I avoid third wave feminists at all costs, third wave feminism tends to attract mentality unstable women and beta male chodes, and walking on egg shells is not very fun either. Third wave feminism is not feminism either. However they are a minority, all be it a loud one.

Canada is pretty anti-pua as well, and its best not to advertise that you are one, they do not like being reminded that men are humans to, and have confidence and social issues as well.. However I have not seen anything in the news about pickup artists over the last year. However I can see, the Toronto Star and Vice flipping their shit when "The Game" hits the big screens.

It discourages more guys from attempting direct approaches and thus make it easier for those that do.
