I work 12 hour shifts, 15 of them a month. I have to be in at 5am, so I have to wake up at 4 and thus go to bed at 8:30pm on nights before this occurs. Now. In order to achieve the most beneficial and restorative sleep I should go to bed around 8:30 every night. This is important for me. During sleep your body repairs itself, releases testosterone, replaces dead skin cells and keeps your metabolism running as it should.. This is all very important to me. I workout (on days off) and looking good is very very important to me (I think I have an emotion need to be validated as good looking and THAT may be the problem in and of itself), as well as ladies. So it puts me at a Catch 22. I don't have to tell anyone all the bright sides night game has to it but by partaking I run the risk of going out, having little to no success and missing out on a restorative night of sleep so I generally don't stay out that late. And keep in mind I live 25 minutes away from the nearest "city" that has a minuscule population of roughly 52k. A good friend of mine who's mildly successful with women insists by not going out at night, I'm assuring that I'll never have much of a romantic life. This forum has it's own category dedicated to health and fitness so I'm sure there's health oriented people on the site. What do you guys think? And any of you guys in general?

All that being said my online game seems to have stalled out on me (but that tends to fluctuate as much as the Dow Jones does) and my day game still SUCKS Today while out and about I saw a cute girl looking at a bottle of coconut oil.. I could talk to you about coconut oil for an hour straight! I use that stuff everyday! But I never got the courage to even say hi.

Excuses

You don't approach girls, day or night, so it's irrelevant. You're clinging on to the sleep schedule to justify your inaction. How do you expect to keep a girl and Netflix an chill, if you have to go to bed at infant times?

But anyway....you somehow managed to find the time to go to strip clubs on a daily basis and now it's a problem all of a sudden when it comes to actually meeting women that are not after your money?

Your comfort zone is online game because your weak mindset is camouflaged by technology till they meet you (Hence why you can count your results oo one hand)

Then learn!!!!! correct your mistakes, overcome sticking points and make it a goal to BECOME good at it. You suck at night time too, so it makes no difference, does it? (Probably that the fact there you're relying on alcohol to help you)

If you live in a small city. Move out of there.

EXCUSES

This forum has many threads where guys want to stay confined to all these limitations, yet still get success from it. They're like asking, how do I get a brand new 2016 BMW for $5000. Well, you cant. You're either going to have to increase the $ you're wiling to spend, or forget the car.

OP, its up to YOU to change your life to get what you want. If you're dead set on this sleep system, fine...find a girl who shares that lifestyle and both of you date between 5pm and 8pm and then sleep together. You have to figure out what you are willing to sacrifice. Maybe that means changing jobs, maybe that means studying for a new profession with better hours and you change jobs in 2 years. Maybe it means you have to move. Maybe it means you have to change your workout routine. Maybe that means you need to get MUCH better at day game or online. I dont know. But as Dragula said, all I see are excuses for you to do nothing.

Yup

Move to a different city. Get a different job. Take control over your life. Don't look for a section of the forum to cry about it on. Grab life by the horns.

I'd love to move elsewhere and get a new job! I do think you may be underestimating the risk & difficulty of this however. Here in the states our workforce participation rate is only 62.6% which is tied for the lowest it's ever been since the 1970's. Nearly 102 million Americans don't have jobs. Real median household income (using the official CPI, which is usually artificially high for PR purposes) is still 1.3% LOWER today than it was in 2007 and wages continue to stagnate in the 2.3% growth range. And a recent survey (I think conducted by Pew) found that almost half of American's would be unable to pay an unexpected 400$ expense without borrowing the money or selling something. It's tough times for upping to a new city and finding a job.

Most of you come across as intelligent people, I'm curious. I work in manufacturing, what fields do you work in and what schooling have you received?

More excuses

I quit my job by making money online, there are thousands of ways to do this, however...there are jobs everywhere. It's the lazy people that are unemployed that have decided there are no jobs out there before they have even looked

People stream themselves playing videogames 8hrs/day nowadays and earn ridiculous amounts of money.

I mean I'm just saying, if playing videogames can be a profession that brings you way over the average salary, you're still finding excuses for why moving to a different city is "risky"?

Personally I work in IT as a software dev.

Of course it's going to be risky. If it wasn't, everyone would be successful. You have to take calculated risks. Risk-reward tradeoff.

I'm in college for software + electrical engineering. I run my own business as well.

There you have it then. Your finances and time do not allow dating. So don't date. Tough times like these if you don't want risk, mail order bride a chick from russia and stick to your schedule.

I don't know what you want to hear?

You realize you can find the new job first, right? Send out resumes, interview over SPAM, negotiate a relocation fee and you're done.
