I understand you wanting to just stay in your comfort zone but honestly I am so glad I left my parents and joined the military. I have learned and grown so much from it. Not to mention my parents were getting on my nerves. My mom didn't want me to leave either. My brother would get girls back to parents house a couple of times, but I never did.

It's great to have a loving mother, but you should have a girlfriend doing all the things that your mother is. I remember, one of the best women I had with me, and recently came back into my life, would actually make the bed after we messed it up together.

Thanks for the advice. I'm a young 50 but don't look it lol. And I have been on my own for a looooong time. I'm just in a shitty place right now where I can't afford to live on my own and Mom's always there to help out, you know? I lost my job as a cab driver due to some complaints that were filed about me and a hit and run I was involved in, so I'm in between jobs now. I'll try to get out asap.
