So this good looking 28 year old added me on facebook (I'm 26) and i started messaging her starting with "hey do i know you?"

We talked back and forth for like 8 days before i told her just to text me. It seemed to be going well and for some reason (don't ask my why i asked this) "so you facetime?". with no response after 30 minutes (dont ask me again why i did this) i double texted her and said "I'll take that as a no".

She responsed 2 hours later saying "No i don't facetime" and i responsed with a "duely noted"
I feel like it got super akward after that incident...so i decided to wait 3 days to try talking to her again to maybe do some damage control

I got a new phone today (and the facetime text was on Sunday) and all my contacts didnt sync so i facebook messaged her again "hey i got a new phone and my contacts didn't sync, so figure i try messaging you here again ...just seeing how your week has been"

The message had been "read" for 10 hours and no response..... Do i tally this up as a loss?

If a girl likes you, you won't have to try so hard.

Doesn't sound like she was all that into you from the beginning.

And in the future, just FaceTime them. Don't ask them permission. If they're into you, they let it ring, go fix their hair and call you back.
