Just make your app, OP. If you believe that having openers available to you on your phone will help people to open more, then do it. Personally, I think it's a waste of time but that doesn't make me right.

Precisely. Telling you my success with women is something I'd rather not have to preach about.

Well my father is a successful entrepreneur and my mentor - this steered me to studying marketing and business. I have a team of developers that I work with creating primarily web based applications.

I won't lie, we've never done anything in the mobile industry, but it only makes sense to venture towards this direction ^.^

Practically improbable that one exists. This is not what we aim to achieve.

If you think you have the answer to your own question, there'd be a function on the app for users to add in their own openers and get your own success rate from others field testing it.

If you're creating an app and you just want it to be popular and get downloaded and make money from that, then you dont need much experience with women. If you're creating an app to HELP guys, you should have some experience with approaching and women. Heywood's question is good because it gets to what you're trying to achieve. A popular novelty app...or an app that helps guys approach.

I really doubt you could develop an app to help guys approach.
Like I said in my initial post, guys don't approach because they don't want. That's what it boils down to. It's easier to be complacent in your comfort zone than to step out of it.

I really like the idea. As said, what you say does not really matter, but only how you say it.
I would see it as a game and use the app. Maybe having different categories, like "Bulletproof" openers, "funny" openers, "get ready to run after you deliver" openers. I know there are no bulletproof openers, but having such a category with the nicest openers, might actually give the confidence to some people to go open and deliver it with the proper amount of self respect. I would definitely be using the get ready to run openers :D
