I've been working on this college girl for the last 2 months. I've been on 2 dates with her, the last one ending in a make-out in my car. But that was just before Thanksgiving. I haven't seen her since due to her exams and the holidays. We have been pinging each other every 9 days or so since then however. She starts class again on the 19th.

So my question is what's the most socially savvy way to start this back up? Normally, 3rd date, I'd invite her straight over, but there's been a 2 month gap and I feel like I need to re-establish comfort. So I was thinking an activity date (last time we went for bubble tea + mini golf). Followed by an invitation to cook dinner at mine. Do you think this is a solid plan?

From your post you seem like a socially savvy dude so whatever you plan will probably work.

You could probably do something very low key, walk in the park or whatever or have her go get groceries with you, make it a fun secretive thing, and then you go back and cook the food.

I am not insinuating that you were trying to create some major thing for this date, but just as a side topic, the idea that a guy has to create some kind of a spectacle with a woman to please her can be thrown out the window in a lot of situations; the girl just wants to be around you and feel your energy anyway. So invite her along with whatever you're doing.

Doesn't really matter. If the attraction is there, something as simple as grocery shopping should be enough. Or an activity date, those are always good.

I personally don't think its too soon at all to invite her back to your place.

This is where phone calls become crucial. If you were to call the girl and joke around with her for 20 mins and then suggest that she come over to your place once she gets back during the emotional high of the conversation she'll say yes 8 times out of 10.
