If you're texting a girl at night and they stop and they send this 'I fell asleep' text in the AM, odds are they just hooked up with someone.

Yes?

Simply because I've been on the other end of this before. I get up after a booty call and have a shit load of texts to respond to.

Self horn-tooting post of the week, ladies and gentlemen.

Attention MPUA Forum.
It is of critical importance that all of you acknowledge how much of a big deal I am. My phone is full of texts after a bootycall, which I totally get plenty of. I am of very important person!!!!1

You didn't answer the question. Would you agree that many times this is the case with girls too? Lot of AFCS are always wondering why their gfs don't text back suddenly after 10pm, or 3 hour gaps between 6 and 9pm.

People DO go sleep after 10 you know. People can have stuff going on between 6 and 9pm beyond sex. If you think it must mean they're fucking then your life isn't balanced.

What bro?

I still don't even see how you're making this connection. Unless she stopped texting you back at 7pm at night and then said that late into the morning. But even thing, you're still overthinking.

What would you want her to do? Stay up all night texting you and not fall asleep as proof that she isn't having sex with someone?

Well most dates and hook ups during the week occur during those hours esp. Here in the city. I was using my experience to suggest that this is mostly the case, especially since girls get around more than guys regardless of what society says. Theoretically, if you are in an invested text convo with someone at night they aren't going to just suddenly 'fall asleep' without signing off or at least having the text response times dwindle.

It's not experience...it's jumping to conclusions and maybe a little bit of paranoia. Experience would be getting the message that she fell asleep but seeing (or having proof) that she was out with another guy.

You may think she was invested in a text convo with you, but maybe you read too much into emoticons and crafted words.

I didn't realize people thought so deeply about a text convo... Stop making such a big deal about nothing. I fall asleep without texting people back all the time.

Make you feel better that your girlfriend might not be getting plowed by a NFL player when she doesn't respond?

OP, you're VERY paranoid. When you're in a relationship, does it get to you? Like are you scared when the girl goes out etc, or worried at the very least? Do you justify it with things like "It's not that I don't trust you, it's that I don't trust other guys. You're hot and other guys will be all over you. I just think it wouldn't hurt to wear something that shows a little less skin, to prevent them trying anything" and all that?

I'm not being a dick, you're just over thinking and I think you're probably the paranoid type. >99% of the time it means she either fell asleep, forgot to reply, or couldn't be bothered to talk anymore. Spin more plates and you wont notice if you drop one.

A perfect metaphor for the "game."

As to the text frequency sometimes I drop off for days at a time I'm not married to the phone.

No I'm not paranoid and I'm not in a relationship. I only do fuck buddies. I was just putting this out there out of curiosity, since I can prove on one occasion that I was the one hooking up with someones gf before and she texted him this exact thing. We all know that if and when this happens the girl isnt going to say she was getting mandingoed. Especially if that happens on a Saturday night, like really? What chick falls asleep at 10pm sharp talking a beta doormat bf on the phone...

Just speculating

Overthinking at its best bro. You wont make this post if you truly have a shit load of texts to respond to.
