So I am gaming girls a university on my course and I usually ask them as an opener what modules they are studying.
They then proceed to tell me. I don't know what to say other than cool or sounds good.
How could I reply?

Maybe you should try opening with something that you are actually interested in so that you can have a conversation. If you really cared about what they were studying you'd be able to continue the conversation.

Other than that, just do as said above. Ask something you're generally interested in. It's honestly better to open with "You're really hot. What's your name?" than something you don't give a shit about. I'll say one thing though, girls LOVE to talk about themselves. You'd be on the right track, if you gave a shit.

If she smiles and says something, interact.

If she just stares at you reach your hand out and say "my name is Jay. (use your name... Or fuck it, use my name if you're more comfortable lol). What's your name?"

If she replies with her name, you can assume she likes you enough to proceed forward. Some (most) girls are socially awkward too so you've really got to grab the wheel at first.

Then you keep fucking hitting on her lol find an excuse/reason for the two of you to be alone somewhere and let nature take its course.
