Probably the best book. It's more of an INNER GAME book. But what's special about this, imo, is that it doesn't teach you typical bullshit like "Be yourself, Be direct" with no practical advice, rather it digs deep and actually tells you what kind of MENTALITY you should have while approaching girls. Plus

--> It doesn't advocate any techniques or routines.

--> Clears some seriously wrong concepts about Pickup

--> Introduces the concept of "Vulnerability" which is the key to becoming direct and being Alpha in general.

--> Discusses some topics/concepts that are rarely given attention to but are very important factors in determining your success. E.g demographics, types of women and which type to hit on (and how).

And lastly, it's well written, well explained, properly organized but most importantly, its concepts apply to all areas of life rather than only pickup. So a must read.

Personally, I find the ambivalence and oxymorons in the book disappointing.

I agree with monsignor. it contradicts itself throughout the book. he talks in circles, and it gets discouraging after a couple of chapters. I thought it was also dark and dreary. I got a couple of good points out of it, but only about 15% of the book was useful to me. I guess, I just have a higher mindset than the author because some of the content almost made me backstep my progress.

You have to be careful, and read it thoroughly. then weed out what will be useful for you. because if you're not careful, it can whitewash your progress if you're already on the right path.

I've read the entire book a couple of times and I do revisit some chapters every once in a while. It's a good book and got some solid advises as well. I agree with style981, it's more of an INNER GAME BOOK.

Good point Stevedtat. But at the end of the day it all comes down to the person himself. A one itis guy will only interpret the "honesty" in this as to justify his neediness. Just like the only thing most people get from MM is fake routines and Negs. So it's upto the person what he gains out of it. But I think the (real) concept of Vulnerablity and Honesty introduced by him are really good.

That's a great look at it, and you're exactly right. I hadn't thought of it as compared to MM, but I can't deny that that makes perfect sense. Style, you always live outside the box and I enjoy your input.

It's the only book you really ever need to read.

Tbh its fairly good by standards here (you know what I mean). But if you are comparing at the level of yours or other guys here, then not so good. Depends from what perspective you are talking.

(Expecting to get my bashed/ass-kicked again)

I love the book and is the book i usually recommend the most...

But still after going out with couple of community dudes, i still think that some outer tips are needed, the book does not cover many, so i will jump in the "inner game" bandwagon...

Combine the book with 60yoc

Skills - Same

60 is my favourite in terms of outergame and mindset but I do not recommend it to beginners. Always Models at 1st,

The thought of escalating as an opener is a bit too knarly for nooblets. I would say give it a read when you're stuck at the 'making out with lots of girls but not banging them' stage

It's good. Real good. Some common sense, some not. Well grounded guy who speaks from experience and is all about authenticity and vulnerability - and there's a lot of attraction in that.
