some backstory on me: im kinda of a good guy, wouldnt say im a MPUG, possibly a junior pug with 60+ or something, just came out of a long relationship and trying to get back in the game.

2009 was a long time ago... I don't think using negs at all is advocated much any more, partially because many people misunderstood what a neg was supposed to be.

If you read that thread, most of the guys don't take the OP seriously at all. In fact, this old thread, was written by someone who didn't last for too long. A lot of guys get on here for an ego boost but don't know anything about pickup, so you'll have to learn to separate the shit from the shiny.

Sometimes you get what you pay for.

I don't find it to be necessary at all. Making fun of a girl is always fun and they enjoy it, but purposely knocking them down a few pegs just so you can feel more confident in their presence? Completely unnecessary.
