Maybe you guys have had a similar situation and can help me...

Was texting this girl yesterday morning, didn't want to sound needy or too easy so I said gotta run text you later... I never texted back. Fast forward to last night I was out having sushi with some friends... posted it on my social networks (although didn't say who I was with).

Unfortunately SPAM let's you see the last time a person was online, so she probably saw I was on several times thru day and night and didn't bother to text her. Anyways, when I got back from my dinner I sent her a funny picture I saw online about something we joke, she read the message (SPAM again let's you know when someone reads the message) but no response.

I tried sending another funny message again today around noon... again she read the message and didn't reply or anything.

Now what might she be mad about? And when you get into a situation like this do you just wait a day or two and try to text again or do you actually ask her about the elephant in the room?

And that's why I've set my last seen privacy to "only me" , though it has the disadvantage that you can't see others too if you set yours. But who cares if it saves you a lot of pain.

If you really think this is the reason I suggest you set yours to "only me" too, it will save you a lot of problems. However the reason you gave is just your speculation. May be she really was busy or was not attracted enough?

You shouldn't care on why she's not texting you back. If you do, you risk putting yourself in a "I need to fix this" mentality. When a girl doesn't return your text the worst thing you can do is keep feeding her more text. It justifies what she is doing as the correct thing to do.

Go out to dinner again. Keep yourself busy. Keep posting photos of you having a good time without her and let her come back to you.

I wouldn't care about setting privacy. If a girl feels the need to check when I'm online, that's a girl that is investing in me.

Thanks a lot for the replies! You guys are right, maybe I am just putting too much thought into it... I don't think she is busy I think she is just plain mad and is looking for me to say or do something about it.
