What does it mean when a girl looks down and smiles with her mouth closed?

Today I saw a gorgeous girl walking by on the sidewalk. I looked at her face and I said "Hi" in a warm, seductive way. She looked down and smiled with her mouth closed. What exactly does this mean? It seemed like I made her feel good. Maybe she enjoyed the validation I gave her. I did the same thing to another girl and got the exact same reaction.

What you describe is an invitation to a conversation, the girl assumes a submissive state. In other words, keep talking about bee's and flowers till she is comfortable enough to actually have a two-way conversation.

I would be inclined to say its an IOI and that she's a little shy. I would keep going but try to ease her tension through laughter and from there continue

Next time, when you encounter a similar situation again, throw a compliance test. Something like:

Then offer your hand so she can shake it. When she shakes it, then you just had compliance number 1.
