Is facebook an absolute must? I have bi-polar and made a dick of myself on some occasions(manic). I prefer not to use it. please list pro's and cons

It's a form of advertising yourself in simplest of terms. And like any advertisement it can either help or hinder.

So yes, you want it. But if you're incapable of doing it right you're better off without it.
