most girls will reject a guy that approaches her. you have to be ok with that statistic. if you are not ok with it, then pick up is not for you.

Try hard = dress well, join a gym, build an interesting life, put a lot of effort into making yourself attractive to women. Anyone who is successful at it has put a lot of effort. Perhaps it takes effort to "try hard" without appearing to try hard.

I go out now and most of the time I don't say anything. I know nothing about the people that I go out to not talk to. But a few months ago, I had a streak where I would go out and get drunk and that would give me courage to talk to people. I remember one time finding out that a girl was a young mom and just out to have fun and her friend worked at a T-shirt printing shop. Cool. And when I'm not drunk, I don't have the courage to find out these simple facts. But I do not drink. I can't. It is not a legitimate tool to handle anxiety and is so bad for you. By the time I actually get courage to speak to these girls.... they will all have three kids by someone who wasn't scared to speak to them, even to find out the little basic facts of their life like where do they work.

Yes it's true. But then again you won't be interested in most women.

oh, i got it. I was worried for a moment that by try hard you meant try to impress.
but the answer is the same, you cant change statistics. some girls are just not interested in meeting a guy period. some girls are interested in meeting a guy, but you are not their type.
you want to look your best, join a gym, etc. to increase your chances with the neutral and receptive ones.

Why wouldn't I be? To have sex with, yes I would.

You would have sex with the majority of women you see on a daily basis? Half of those are maybe 45+. Half of those remaining may be ugly, fat or simply not attractive. Maybe 10-20% of those you see everyday are between mildly and very attractive.

OP: Yes, most girls will not be interested. When you are a "master" of pickup (such a dorky term) you'll be able to find, give and take, about ONE girl who wants to sleep with you every night you go out. But even if I am at that level myself, I rarely find that attraction mutual. It takes quite a woman to make my juices flowing. And they are rare, unfortunately.

Really, I see alot of them.

Even super good looking male models don't get interest from every girl.
