So I met a girl online. We connected and after a few days of chatting , we decided to meet on Friday.
On the day , she texted me in the morning that she had a few drinks the night before and apologized for not being able to make it. The text was something like
"Dave, I feel crap today . Had no sleep last night and feeling very bad. I am soo sorry I cannot make it today. if you wish , I can cancel my plans for tomorrow and we can meet up".
I responded " No problem. Do what you have to do . We can meet on Sunday if you still wish for us to meet". She did not respond to that . So on Friday evening , I texted
"my 57 yr old grandma in Canada seven seas away responded faster than you. LOL
".
worked and she immediate texted back that she would want to see me.
So we decided to meet on Sunday. No contact on Saturday as I knew she is with her friends (or may be not).
Now it is Sunday, I texted her if she still wants to meet and no response . I tried to call her but she did not pick up.
What shall I do now ? I dont want to play the grandma card again OR in fact say anything that would make her feel like shit.
First of all if she was that into you then she wouldn't be cancelling anyway.
Secondly, that grandma text was really needy and weak. Seriously, never do that. You should be too busy to care if she takes a while to respond!
Thirdly, do nothing ffs.
Can you go and watch some Corey Wayne videos? Start with "The Illusion of Action" and if you like him, watch his videos. Don't, however, just dislike him cause he tells you to do things that you don't want to do - it works if you apply it! What you're doing now, will scare her off, I promise you.
