The Pessimist is so hopeless that he just doesn't care, and that indifference makes him attractive.

You choose your route.

And yes, pushing beyond comfort zones is the only way to learn to not give a fuck. You have to step out there an do shit that makes you feel uncomfortable now, but it won't after continuing to do so.
