Right...so I went to get a haircut today.My hairstyle is usually short , but not too short , if that makes any sense.

Anyway, I told the "stylist" I wanted her to cut it max 1 cm shorter. What she ended up doing was cutting it like she was wielding an axe , about 3 cm shorter than I told her to.
To make matters worse she did a horribly asymmetric job. It literally was the worst haircut I've ever seen , let alone got.

Long story short ,because of her massive incompetence I had to go to another place entirely , and get a "fix" , which was only possible by cutting my hair EVEN shorter.



Obviously I was getting the cut to look all good and sexy for xmas / newyears and now I look like a marine that just got into the navy.



So yeah , comparing what it is to what it should've been , it looks like shit.

Right...so , what do ? How do I handle this with style ?
I feel like this is gonna affect my confidence levels and that's not something I want for the upcomming parties.

Wow, the exact same thing happened to me last week. I've been more used to my short hair now, but the first days was awful. I would recommand wearing a caps may e untill the hair has grown out to an OK length. It sucks too be there bro, but make the best out of it.

Yea , sure , but caps don't really work indoors.

Buzz it down - go super short. Embrace the navy look and own it.

It's that or break out a Santa hat for the holidays.

I really doubt it can be buzzed down more than it already is , hahah.


Anyway , I considered what you suggested and I'll probably go for both. Own the navy look and also bust the Santa hat.

It's annoying when a haircut doesn't turn out the way you wanted it, no doubt about it!

But my advice would be just to "own" your new look and laugh it off! Bring some humour into the game by acknowledging that your haircut is shit, but that you didn't ask for it and so you might as well laugh about it!

Girls won't even CARE that your haircut looks rubbish! The fact that you can chuckle about yourself and show people that you're totally comfortable with your new look (albeit an undesired one) will be a DHV and will show you as someone who is at ease with who he is, how he looks, and to hell with the reaction!

That's what I'd do anyway.

I'm actually getting MY hair cut tomorrow! Here's to hoping it's not a disaster!

But yea , stay unphased by it. Also try picking up some girls. If you can pull it off while not being 100% happy with your look , you'll be unstoppable once your hair grows back .

That's what you get for getting a cheap hair cut... Find someone who knows what the fuck they are doing for next time. Until then... Check out your local hat store and find a couple cool hats lol

if I get a horrible hair cut I just buzz it all with a number 1... gotta start from scratch.

I didn't get a cheap haircut cuz I'm a cheap fucker , I did it cuz I'm a broke ass college student. I'm relatively sure everyone knows what that's like.


Also it's a mystery to me how people like that get to be hired in the first place.
