how to get a social life?

Hey, guys!
I need som help here, i do not have a great social life..
at weekends i'm usually at home and i am pretty bored, almost everyone are out partying but i do not get invited...
I want to change this!
What can i do to get a better social life?

I am almost always at home after school, and in weekends, and that sucks..
I always have to initiate conversations and keep it going, don't get invited out and this is not the life i want. I want to be out having fun, partying and being with friends.
i have never had a girlfriend before either..

Great age, for a starter what I can offer you is: initiate something yourself. Ask the people in your inner circle if they'd like to get together at your place for the weekend, or do something social(go to a cafe, party at nighttime in some club). Main idea is: feel comfortable, but force-do something to get things going, next time you should be invited when they plan something.

The people i usually hang with at school is not the partytypes, some of them are. But i want to be out partying, not gaming with them :P
