Since I got into pickup 13 months ago I laid 17 women, will make it 18 this week I´m pretty sure. Roughly half of them were the result of cold approaches. If you consider that in my 42 years of life before PU I slept with 12 and always found that way less then I wanted/needed, and that of those only one was a "cold approach", you can bet your ass that I´m MORE then happy with my performance. And with every single interaction I get better and better, so I´m pretty positive that I´ll fuck 100 women before I´ll be 50 and start to shrivel up
I personally don´t feel there is a big difference in closing from a cold or warm (is there such a term?) approach really. It is harder to build up attraction and get rapport with a total stranger then when interacting with someone you got introduced to by someone you know. That does give you a head start, but turning any approach into a seduction that is actually working out for me (whether it was a cold or warm one) is pretty much the same thing. Basically from the moment on where a flirt or flirty banter, however it was originally initiated, needs to be taken to the next level if you want to get sex, the "effort" you have to make is the same.
At least in my experience it is. I´m talking about cold approaches in comparison to gaming women that you didn´t know before either, but were introduced to via your social circle the same night. Chicks that I´ve known for some time already I find actually the hardest to game, because you have to deal with much stronger preconceived notions about you that are often a hindrance.
Generally speaking I feel I owe a lot to the community. Learning what it has to offer helped me unlock the natural in me, that was hidden somewhere beyond my conscious grasp. I go out 3 to 4 nights a week and not a single one of these nights passes without me heavily flirting with at least on hot woman/girl, and often that is more then enough because it´s so much fun to feel that you could if you wanted to, tasting the sweet flavour of a potential conquest. Even if you are actually wrong about that
. Number closes are countless, at least 40 makeouts and as I mentioned 17 lays... There are guys out there to whom that´s peanuts, others that would kill for my modest success rates, but what counts is that I AM happy with myself. That I AM perceiving this as the abundance in interacting with women that I dreamt of my entire life but didn´t believe possible just a bit more then a year ago.
That´s what count´s. That I feel good about myself like I never did before.
So yes I do get laid from cold approach occasionally. Did I get what I hoped for from the PU-community?
