i mainly sarge clubs and ive now come to terms with the fact YOU CAN NOT BE HEARD INSIDE MOST OF THEM!
i was wondering what you guys do if you get asked to dance (whether i should or not) but after observing the dance floor ive come to realise its almost a necessity! (correct me if im wrong).

so how important is it to be able to dance well?
ive got my first salsa class tonight!!!! if anyone has any suggestions on what other dance classes i should take i would love to hear them!

thanks guys.

Flat out declining to dance would only lower your value. So if you are really worried about dancing, you will need to come up with some excuse. Say you are going to the bar, or returning to your friends and you'll catch up with her later.

There is a chance, however, that while you do this some other guy is going to move to her on the dancefloor.

Being at a dancefloor and not being able to dance is a multi-layered DLV. You lose out no matter what you do. If you refuse to dance, the people won't take the hint and will be like "C'mon, c'mon! What's a matter with you?" They will continue to harrass you about it and make a bigger deal about it than even needs to be made. And it's a DLV. If you go out there and give it a whirl and you suck, you'll look very awkward and uncoordinated and ugly. More DLV.

The only solution is to either learn some basica dance skills, or just avoid the dancefloor at all costs.

Not being able to do something is only a DLV if you let it be.

I have a friend who is one of the most pathetic dancer you'll ever see. He knows he sucks but he enjoys himself doing it,somehow.

It takes some serious confidence to admit you suck horribly at something.

Girls would actually tell him "You're a bad dancer".
He'd say "Nope , you're bad , I'm horrible".

He admits to his sucking in such a way that it just blasts confidence all over that girl. He doesnt give a fuck that he cant dance. So what ? He's having a good time.

Sure, taking dance lessons won't hurt, but being unable to dance is by no means a deal breaker.

Salsa, is ok, not ideal, zumba, would translate more to popular dancing...But in salsa you will meet tons of girls in zumba even more girls...
