i think the thing about guitar and girls is its the only instument that is portable and enables the user to sing and play it at the same time.

which is one of the reasons i picked up guitar 4 years ago

but the thing ive noticed about girls who like drummers is when a drummer has a solo, they are usually more wild and expressive with their emotions that some guitarists are

so that gives some props and social proof to drummers

but when it comes down to it, if you do play an instrument, learn it well. Being able to play something, and play it well for a girl = big ups

thats the thing about drums, theres no melody or whatever (im self taught i dont know proper music terms and stuff) so i could sit a chick down and start tearing my shit up but unless im soloing itll just be a groove, a beat. you know what i mean? its usually very repetative.

im thinking of picking up bass so i can light up and just sit in my room and groove though lol

awesome you'll love to know apparently there's a note on the bass that can give a woman a orgasm when coming through an amp, i haven't tried it yet, but im willing to give it a try!

ha!

i have my guitar in plain view...i only use it if she asks about it...in which case just have a dhv story about it (about a cool gig you played or teaching your little sister) and teach her to play a song...then maybe play her one if shes good. girls always remember the guy who taught them to play a song!

teaching a sister the drums doesnt sound as sexy as teaching her the guitar... drums are too violent.

c'mon.

I play bass so the second one is applicable to me. But I try not to play anything unless she asks me or brings it up less I feel like I'm "showing off." But it's hard not to notice as where I live is virtually a studio and my 8x10 and 4x10 are just chilling there.

Jazzy things work real well. Use passing tones, 6ths, 7ths, smooth rhythms, and the chordal harmonies that make jazz....jazzy.
