So I think I'm getting a cold sore on my lip. If I am, that totally sucks, but it got me thinking about the ethics of sarging while contagious with something like a cold sore.

What do you guys think? Is it okay?

Personally, i'd wait it out considering I am very health-and-look conscious. Especially of my face. At least till it starts to get better.

Thanks Tasty. I do actually know what a cold sore is. I was asking more about the ethics of attempting to perform pick up while you had one. I was just curious to get people's opinions, so the second part of your post helped.

Come on . . . are you saying you can't take one weekend off? Get some rest, take vitamin C, relax. Every now and then, I spot chicks with heavy lipstick on and when I get close, BAM! I see the ooze. This isn't good. Girls cover that shit up with heavy lipstick because they know it's a turn off.

I'd say wait it out aswell. If you are worried about it affecting your performance or something I wouldn't worry about that, you can just build allot of comfort etc then number close and setup the day 2 when it has cleared.

Woohoo! It wasn't a cold sore. Thank God! Turned out it was just a pimple above my lip. Who knew??

I still have never had a cold sore (both my parents and both my brothers get them) and I hope I never will get one.

I'm still interested in what you guys think about sarging when you have something contagious such as a cold sore. What if you're just sick with a cold or the flu or something, but still feel like going out. Is that okay??

Am I really the only one who thinks this is common sense?
Not to be rude, but bro, if you're sick (and usually cold/flu is contageous)... then STAY INSIDE and get WELL. Don't go around getting people sick... plus the mental strain probably isnt too great for getting better.

If you're sick, you should feel like crap. I like to wrap up in a warm blanket, take some tylenol (whatever cold/flu medicine), eat some warm soup, take a Vitamin C daily... drink 7up (especially if I have nausea), and usually have a little bowl to myself (very medicinal). OH and all of this while watching my favorite movie or tv show

However I rarely get sick now (usually once each winter, rather than 3 times) ever since I started working out, taking vitamins and supplements (vitamin E, C, fish/flaxseed oil, calcium).... and just eating healthier. No more fast food every single meal... Now half of my diet consists of stuff like SPAM, fruit, salads, tuna salads... etc

I know you said it wasnt a cold sore - but for future reference (Im not trying to tempt fate) take it as a challenge. Regulary when i sarge, i tell people im a dustbin man to make it harder for myself. Im not even old enough to be one! lol. But take it as a challenge, to really put your skills to the test.
