Its a slippery thing you're on.
From my experience, women aren't like guys in the way that if you help them out they'll love you and respect you forever no matter what happens after that. Guys keep a tab. Women are more so creatures of the moment.
Chris Rock made a very truthful joke in the movie take 5.. He goes " When you date a girl if it doesn't end in marriage to her it was a waste of time. It doesn't matter if you've paid all her bills, helped her get her GED, or if you taught her how to read. If it doesn't end in marriage she'll always see it as a waste of time"
And i've found that to be very true. All the good shit you've done for a girl gets tossed once shit goes wrong. I have guy friends they have done fucked up shit, and even though I don't hang with them anymore if they ever really needed me I'd be there for em. Just because of the history and shit we've been through.
I can't say the same for women.
To me.. If you know that you intend to split and you have no intentions of going far with her you may want to help her a bit but ease on out of it.
She'll only be more destroyed that you did all that shit for her and STILL didn't want to be with her. Thats a huge mixed signal.
You and R.C. are saying two different things right here. Which is why I am asking the question I am asking. I also started reading the manipulated man, which sounds like what you're trying to tell me here. How a man is foolish to try to get a girl to be an intellectual and they really don't care about those kinds of things but men still try to bring them up to our level. Not sure anymore.
I'm all for R.C.'s advice if you hadn't already fucked her.
Once you fuck a girl, all that friendly shit goes out the window. At least in my experience.
I wasn't referencing the book though, but that is a good point. Its true.
