Hi,

I'm from a country with a tropical rainforest climate, that means it can get extremely hot sometimes, and could get very rainy as well.

So is there a perfume or fragrance that you know that I can still wear? Something girls will find sexy, masculine and fresh.

Recommend me a fragrance please.

Cheer

I don't know how it holds in tropical weather, it is temprate climate around here, but I've used Invictus both summer and winter, with generally positive responses.

I believe One Million is also popular.

Different colognes probably suit different men based on a bunch of factors. It's like fashion: different outfits will look better on different people.

I recommend shopping around for cologne with a few different women at different times to find out which one suits you the best. Personally, I use Mont Blanc Legend.

I like:
cool water
farenheit (to me this smells like a new car. you know when you buy a new car and the inside has a nice smell.)
million (intense edition)

I would stay away from cool water and everything from calvin klein.
They smell "nice" but in all my life, I have never heard a girl say a guy wearing cool water smelled "sexy". "Sexy" is what you want.

For me, the best was Fierce from A&F and Code from Armani. I almost stopped wearing Code, because I *never* got compliments on it. Which I mentioned to one of my friends. To which she informed me that she never gave me a compliment on it, because it didn't smell "good", it just made her think "sex". Which I later discovered about Liz Caliborne's Curve for Men as well. Oddly, I would have girls tell me that Fierce smelled sexy. I seem to get the best reactions(not verbal) from Curve and Code. Code is best in bars. Curve seems best in regular daytime situations. Fierce seems to be best for when you're around groups of girls like in clubs. It seems to project really well.

My favorite "boyfriend" cologne is Pi from Givenchy. I noticed that whenever I wear it, girls just instinctively cuddle up next to me. Usually further enforced with a statement like she feels so safe around me. I *always* wear this when we've already slept together and I'm meeting her friends or family.

Thierry Mugler's AMEN was another good one for boyfriend mode. My only issue with it, is that I've had three different girls tell me it smells like something they would wear. One even said "I like it, but you kind of smell like a little girl". So, yeah. I don't wear it much anymore, and probably won't buy a replacement.

I dated a girl who worked at Sophora's and she gave me a list of things that pretty girls often came in looking for their boyfriends(not including the ones I already mentioned):
Burberry Brit
Polo Blue
Acqua di Gio(VERY common in America)
L'Eau D'Issey Pour Homme
Unforgivable(be careful as this smells great on some guys, and awful on others)
Chrome by Azzaro
Halloween man
Bleu de chanel
Dolce&Gabbana Pour Homme
Boss Bottled Night by Hugo Boss
Kenneth Cole Reaction

Funny you mention Pi/Givenchy... I use Play/Givenchy and switch up with Pi, depending on where I'm going out to. I would recommend these, but to echo another poster, I think it's pretty dependent on the person.

Just cause I like something doesn't mean you will.

I juse Joop Go! when I want something light, refreshing, on light summer days (not available in every country) and Invictus by Paco Rabanne when I want something... Heavier, more stable.

I'd suggest you have someone explain to you how cologne works and how to use it. Anyone who asks a question like this doesn't know how to select and use cologne. I'd explain it but I really don't feel like it... so google it :)

I use Swiss army. If you're in a pinch and on a budget...girls like it. But this thread is very helpful, now I'm making some decent money so I think I'll give Curve and Code a try. I like sex.

I'm also thinking about giving Code a try. Didn't know Curve, I'll have to look it up.

A funny thing happened today. I met a female friend for coffee and was using Invictus, a perfume she helped me pick, and one I've used for quite a long time now (6+ months, for sure). When we met she said my perfume smelled nice and asked if I was using something different. I said no, she then took a long sniff at me and said it smelled better than usual.

I wear Ralf Lauraun The stuff that comes in the red bottle with the black top because it smells sweet yet manly.

I also wear his-money. http://www.liquidmoney.com/products/his-money

The trick to a cologne is to wear the same one you wore around the girl the first time...every time.

She then associates the cologne as your scent.

Thought I would bump up this thread. Pretty sure cologne should be a part of any mans wardrobe. I used tested Chrome and apparently this girl from work texted me during the shift saying I smelled so good she wants to bang me. Then another time this girl was all up in my armpits. She freaked me out. Anyway..

+1 for Chrome.

For the person using Fierce, how much does that run you? I looked on Amazon and saw it for 60 dollars.

I use Armani Code Ultimate by G. Armani and Le Male by Jean Paul Gaultier.

Get some female friends you think have good tastes in this and test for samples with them.
