I had a massive willpower fail and stayed up really late Wednesday night, the only good result of which was that I matched with a girl on tinder and we messaged a bit (at 3am.)
The next morning (aka later that morning) we did some more messaging and made plans for sushi that night... only between the complete lack of sleep and the extreme weather we had I really didn't feel like going out. Texted her to reschedule, she accepted and all seemed good. I should note that she seemed pretty enthused, even offered her number before I asked for it.
We proceeded to text a little more, getting to know each other and then she throws out "hey want to talk on the phone?"
Now, I was tired and I honestly hate phone calls... I nearly have a phobia about it, and usually get really anxious on the phone even if it's a business call or a friend. So I said:
"I dunno... I'm not really a fan of phone calls and I'm really tired. I should have gone to bed hours before I messaged you at 3am!

"
Didn't hear back from her at all, and this afternoon when I texted her to confirm plans there was no response.
So did I just send a bad message by not wanting to talk on the phone? Or was it how I worded it? In the future should I just suck it up when a girl wants to have a call?
