I would like to share this quick tip for the newbies or the ones having trouble with phone/text game. I used to be that person thst would call them or text them. They never answered their phones nor text messages and yes its frustrating and it makes you feel less human. So now when I do a phone # Close. I tell them directly that if I call or text them for them to answer and respond in a timely manner like normal people do. Tell them that you understand everyone has a busy life n if shes not in the mood or whatever reasons tell her to at least respond with one text that shes tired, busy or at least be honest and say that you do not want anything to do with you. I usually tell them that we are not kids anymore that we are responsible adults and at least be courteous n be honest. 8 out of 10 they will understand n respect you more than those guys....more like pests in their eyes who keep texting/calling and annoying the living shit out of them. They are worse than the AFC's. Tell them straight up itl save lots of frustration and its helps to move forward with those that dont reciprocate.

You not think this does more harm than good though? Telling them this, only conveys that you're butt hurt about getting flaked on so much from girls.

Prevention is better than cure. Always concentrate on the quality interaction BEFORE the number exchange

I agree with Dragula. In my opinion, telling girls this comes from a frame of neediness. Would a guy with an abundance frame of mind care whether a girl flakes or do not return a text or call?

Telling them like this is a little weird to be honest mate, plus it just lets them know that you usually get ignored by girls, it is only going to make things worse.

Your mobile phone is a valuable tool in this game... texting and calling does not suck if you do it properly.

You aren't saying 8 out of 10 reply, or that you are seeing an 80% improvement over past results. Just that they will 'understand and respect' which can't be quantified.

HOWEVER

I remember a riff on this from the old days of the 'community' which preps the girl for your call (people called one another in the 1990s) and spins all of this in a more positive manner. I have not field tested this because I forgot about it until just now and I was an AFC lurker in the old days of the community.

It basically says to the girl (updated for the 21st century) "and when I text you i want you to be excited and send me at least 7 smilies. Remember: 7. Not 6. At least 7."

It still has somewhat high overtones of desperation (which is probably why i forgot about it until now), but it's way better than going non-positive.

I suspect this positive frame would be more advantageous than as others have stated basically telling the girl you are used to being flaked on.

No desperation nor signs of neediness as long you are around women and/or even women friends. Your just letting know that you are not into text game, etc. You either like me, want to go out with...lets go. Fuck this teenager bullcrap of texting.We're both adults lets act like adults. Next time tell the girl just answer your phone instead of texting. I dont do text and the majority of them do (jump your hoop/compliance test) than come on guys lets all play the phone game of texting.

As soon as you are concerned about flaking you have already lost. A guy that has girls chasing him all the time will not give a fuck if she replies or not. The girl has to sense that about you that you're not dependant on the outcome.

Another option is...You can always give them your number. So therefore the ball is in her court. If you get a text, you know it's a good potential

What some of you guys don't understand is that if she likes you, she will make efforts to talk to you. The reason you're getting flaked on is because you're not portraying a very attractive persona.

And believe me, having that butthurt speech in front of them will earn you a lot of things, but respect, or anything remotely positive is not going to be one of them.

I definitely agree that this initial speech seems a little like preachy butthurtness and comes off looking bad and unattractive. Look gentlemen, we are facing a period of unprecedented moodiness, bitchiness and "womanly independence" in the dating world, and this is from girls who aren't even attractive. Even fat, ugly girls today think they are hot sh-t, why? because there will always be a desperate guy around willing to interact with her online. As a recently separated dad who has just returned to the online dating scene, I have experienced a wide array of different personalities as many of you have too. For me, I just get annoyed once I have exchanged a few messages, gotten to know a woman, she's given me her number or has not, and I just do what some here advise (stop engaging). But guess what, when you do that, and then contact her again, doesn't that defeat the whole purpose? because you just relinquished your un-neediness to her again. It's idiotic and pointless. Women want it both ways and they get it. They want us to pursue them. You can't be aggressive and make her feel your pursuing her by stopping contact, which I do, simply because I get bored and there are too many damn women online that it feels like a waste of time writing to each and every one. Is there a way to express this in my profile without making it sound bitter or needy?

For all you know, it's easy for some "experts" here to say "oh, well you just make up a story in your own mind that you are a busy guy with a life and she will read this telepathically somehow" and then she will magically see you in a more positive light when you re-contact her at a later point.

NO. How about, When you re-contact her, she thinks to herself, "this guy must be a real loser and ran out of girls and now he's back again..." Or, in reality, while you were putting a "freeze" time on her, she met fifty other guys. Oh, but they weren't as great as you are, right? that's why I hope you don't waste your money on some of these PUA scam artists who are full of empty, nonsensical garbage for advise. Not all, some. I see videos of these seminars full of men, hundreds, even thousands. And it's always some jerkoff talking out of his ass NEVER giving any actual details or tips that work only inspirational speeches and self help on what you should believe and make up fantasy to make you crazy.

I just typically use Google, find a meme that relates to SOMETHING you hopefully talked and laughed about in your intereaction and a small quip like

"I found your picture"

"It's so you"

"Yup, that's us"

"Internet thought of it first, sorry"

I usually always get a text back in a playful fun manner. Then I maybe shoot one more funny text relating to it and go for setting up/confirming our next meet. If she dodges the picture or the conversation about meeting after, move on. At least you made her laugh with the picture

Is it something that other, more experienced guys would do? Probably no. I'm sure it's flawed to somebody in someway, but it's gotten me results most of the time.

Sounds like something that will improve with more practice and character development.

I don't wonder whether or not a girl will answer when i call, I expect them to. Theres a confidence difference there. When you approach a woman you should be approaching confidently enough that you know theres no way in this world she isn't going to be urging to speak to you again. You don't gotta debrief them; just continue being the guy that they can't wait to speak to.
