I have been struggling with this for a long time. I cant freaking keep eye contact. When a girl looks at me, I look somewhere else. I look at the floor, or behind her, or to her left, or to her right. I dont do this on purpose, it happens automatically.

my goal is to have an intense, memorable eye contact. something that makes her feel a connection. something that will make her think "wow, we had something there." does this happen in real life or am I being unrealistic?

Why cant I freaking do it? Why do I keep looking somewhere else? I guess I will just go to youtube, find a hot girl, pause video, and keep staring into her eyes. will that fix it?

update: thought I should mention I have already said Hi to these girls. I am not being a creep staring without saying anything. So I say "Hi" she says "Hi" and looks me in the eye. I quickly break eye contact and look at the floor. it's like I feel guilty and think "I shouldn't be doing this"??

If you haven’t figured out the secret to intense eye contact yet, it’s because there isn't one. You need to practice until it becomes second nature. And not just occasional practice or with certain people, either. It needs to be with every person you come in contact with — no exceptions!!!

You stop being a wuss man.

I once stared into a girls eyes on the train for the entire 45 min train ride, and she walked up to me and gave me her card right before getting off the train. I didn't look away and she didn't look away for the entire ride. My phone rang and everything. Still NO.

Its a game of " Can you handle me? " " Can you lead me? " " Do you possess the strength and emotional fortitude for me to surrender myself to you"

I stare into the eyes of every chick that makes eye contact with me just so I'm ready for the moments that count. Fat skinny, young, old,. Sometimes the fat chicks get a little courageous and try to speak to you so be careful.

But no, a video is not going to help. She is not even there.. There is no intensity. The emotions aren't there. The electromagnetic waves being sent from our eyes aren't there. You have to go out and do the real thing.

^ Wow, 45 minutes! How did she act while you were doing it, did she look back ?

You have to be willing to be uncomfortable. I was looking at a girl in a shop, she looked back and the eye contact lasted about 10 seconds before she looked away. I did too (important i dont look away beforer she did). Then she started looking again so I did the same thing. I should have talked to her .. but still, this was very powerful.

She didn't look away for the entire 45 mins. That was the point. I wasn't going to be the one to look away, or approach her until she submitted.
