What would an alpha male drive you think? I was thinking a big truck or a mercedese. Possibly something that represents great strength, like a mustang. Maybe a wrx, that may be a little childish. What does an alpha male drive?

Might be overthinking this one....but to answer your question...usually it is a muscle car...or a truck...I drive a maxima....don't really think twice...

Don't overthink this, the best thing to do is drive something that make YOU feel like an alpha male. Whether thats a truck, a sports car, a luxury car, or a nice sedan.

I drive a Mustang GT because I love Mustangs, I like to race, and I love to drive.
If I loved going off road more than I would own a 4x4 truck.
If I loved being flashy and showing off that I make good money more than I'd buy a luxury car.
And if i cared more about good MPG and fitting more people in my car than I'd get a sedan.

I'm a huge car guy and I love ANYTHING with a motor so don't get hung up on makes and models, as long as it suits YOU.
Whatever you have make sure you can always enjoy it, and have fun with it.

P.S. if you want to feel more freedom than you've ever felt you should buy a motorcycle too. ANY motorcycle.

Yeah, there is only some truth to the car for compensation/status thing.

Some very expensive cars are just flat out cooler than the mass made ones. If I had a great deal of wealth, I would absolutely be buying a late 80s Countach 5000QV.

As for things I may eventually buy on my realistic salary, I may end up with a Camero or even a Porsche Boxster. Personally, I'm not a fan of Mercedes or BMW. Yes, some cars are more expensive than others. But you have to think of how much time you spend in your car. Many of the luxury cars, are indeed much nicer.

I drive over an hour a day. Over the course of ten years, that's over 4,000 hours. That's a pretty damn big chunk of time. Spending more on making it a much more enjoyable experience is perfectly valid to me.

Your "car" doesn't really matter. You can get a toy that has some sex appeal if you want female attention. Personally, I'd rather make a girl fall in love with me. But you could get a nice Harley or an older sports car or muscle car if you want to go that route. Girls do love toys.

In an ideal world? Probably a Mercedes AMG. Low key enough not to be outrageous, still stylish as fuark. In reality? I drive a shitty bicycle under the rain, since I am a student and moved to The Netherlands some weeks ago. Then again, I don't see how a car would help you pick up girls, unless you tend to do so at traffic light stops.
