Right now I'm stuck on the body of the profile. I'm trying to balance keeping it mysterious and adding detail when needed. And oh yeah I need it to be more interesting. Unfortunately I'm having writers block on that too.

In my spare time I like traveling and I've been to Vegas four times I also plan on hitting up the tropics next year-ish (Febuary or March). Then there are the times where I rent a plane and fly myself to where I want to go.

Outside of that I try to stay in shape both mentally and physically. I'm also a huge music nerd with several genres loaded on my iPod touch. I'm also into the typical guy stuff too. If you want to know more ask!

Hmm never thought that having a license would attract gold diggers. I might have to leave that out and bring it up when needed.

Looking at it again I would like to expand (briefly) on how I keep myself in shape mentally and physically. I might want to provide a little more detail in liking "guy stuff" as well.

Probably not on its own, but possibly when mentioned in combination w/ private plane. Just maybe something to keep in mind. But everything else being equal having that line in there would get more responses than not having the line in there. It's a really nice dhv.

Again thanks again for the help on all of this. You brought up an excellent point regarding humor. I have a few rough drafts on how to use this in my profile. Here's an idea I'm tossing around.

OKC's I spend a lot of time thinking about:

The typical stuff. If a tree falls in the forrest. How much wood could a wood chuck chuck? How many illegitimate children does James Bond have?

Again these are just ideas.

If you love traveling, show it in pictures. A pic is worth thousands word. Save your profile space for something else.

For right now I want to focus on the body of the profile. That's not to say I'm going to blow off pics (I'm not).

Speaking of pics I'm currently trying to lose weight and staying in shape. What's the word on on updating a cover pic every month or so (assuming it looks good)? I also want to keep pics of my hobbies in rotation instead of just throwing everything out there. So for example the first three pics are of me being suave (or not lol). While the next three or four are of my hobbies, places I've been to or activities I'm involved in.

why even put anything on your profile if you are trying to be mysterious? i dont have anything in my about me sections. that works perfectly

POF makes you have an about me, if thats what you are talking about i would recommend Tinder, its 100 times better

Bring on the gold-diggers. WE bait them, fuck them, then chuck them before they can get the shovels out. LOL

It's just too plain and ordinary. Post pictures of yourself flying an airplane, and in Vegas and traveling. Don't even mention it in your profile. It will make you look like you walk the walk, and leave some mysterious nature about yourself.

I've found the best profiles are the ones with pictures demonstrating your lifestyle, and a funny profile that shows a guy is fun and not taking online dating too seriously.
