I need your advice. I decided to give Tinder a go because I was interested in how the app worked. It matched me with a HB8, and all was going well when I was running the cube on her. However, I think she googled it and said

"Stop with the PUA tricks, you seem like a nice guy but you come off as a bit of a jerk".

Instead of brushing it off, I diverted the convo to made it look like I was trying out a social experiment, as society often stereotype asian guys like myself.

"OMG you read 'The Game'? That's awesome! I wanted to see if the stuff in the book worked, but clearly it doesn't do too well! Haha. Say if I didn't use the cube, would you have still spoken to me?"


In a situation where you do get caught out, what is there a better way to counter that?

Don't run cheesy routines... and you won't get called out.

This is one my fears of running into on the field. My solution is to use either my very own routines or not so well known ones that have not been publicized outside of the PUA community. The cube is awesome and if you must use it give it a different name and origin. My friend taut me this awesome trick the other day.

You can use the principles taught by PUA rather than routines.

the cube basically is a way to cold read a girl, basically telling her what you see in her, u can take generalizations from her profile like if shes in alot of sports, you seem very outgoing and like to take on challenges, and then u see she has a picture of a puppy shes hugging but you also have a sweet side that not man people would see. its useful to keep it generalized with words like

you Seem

even if your wrong you can just be like well thats what I can see. it honestly doesnt matter if you get it wrong. if you do get it wrong dont keep trying change the subject

Yeah you're right, I really like the cube since girls tend to be really into it. I'll keep using it, but I will follow advice and modify it a bit so its not as easy to be caught out.

I didn't know you could run a routine like the cube over text. Probably best to save it for a date. But if you have been using it over text and it works then ok. The cube is a personality test and although it is a pua routine it's a psychology tool first. Look at the non pickup websites on it and introduce it as such.

Don't run the cube over text message. It gives her a chance to go "this is a rather odd question" and run it through google.

Routines are fine, ten year old routines that are posted all over the web are not.

Stop using routines.

All you have to do to grab her interest especially online/over text is

be fun
be interesting

and don't be needy plus throw some negs/compliments in.

It's simple really.
