Yeah girls can really give you high value. When I was around my (good-looking) GF (now ex) and her also good-looking friend, I could see the girls giving me proximity and eye-contact. Female wings are way better.
You don't necessarily have to bring a woman with you. A common game they used on keys to the VIP is searching one woman and tell her to introduce you to another women in the room (not the same friend circle). Having a girl introducing you is a way to do this.
