Turns out it was a girl I went on a date with BACK IN JUNE! She got the text on the 10th October! I never pushed it anywhere because this girl didn't have much time and wasn't really giving off "signals" of high interest. Turns out she actually way and still IS interested.

So never ever underestimate interest. Girls are weird creatures and they often hide their interest, which could be boiling.

This is true unfortunately but that's why you need to know shit tests and know when to just push through. Don't be an AFC and back down when the girl seems to flake on you but be tactile about it, don't go in guns blazing and stalk her. Sometimes a short freeze out is in order to get her to cop onto herself. She'll indicate she's into you by messaging you after a day or two of not talking, if she does that her interest is there which generally means she misses talking to you. That's not a bad thing if it's been sexual or flirty but if you're clearly a friend and there's never been anything there then you're just a friend.

Yes. But of course, as I've been proselytizing for ages around here, a girl might appear not interested with you this week and the week after next, she's horny as fuck escalating with you.

There's also another field reality which I've realized also applies to women. Do you remember that hot girl in high school or college that you really wanted to bang and never got the opportunity to do so? After awhile, you meet her again by accident or otherwise and you still wanted to bang her.

A few college chick friends 'confessed' via sex on phone when I've met them again in a long while that they're so horny about me since college which eventually led to f-closes.

Yes i do recall the OP. Unfortunately not the girls I liked though but from what you say is true: too many guys use the self-destruct button. In my mind I always use gimmicky tricks through text which never work and then I just quickly f*ck it up big time. When that happens I think GFTOW while basically i'm just giving up a potential intrtested girl. Good post, i too say: never underestimate interest.
