That talk about betas reminded me about a line I once heard:

"You only need two friends in life: an ugly one to make you look good, and a poor one to make you look rich"

That is why when a girl agrees to go out with me but asks if she can bring a friend I turn it into a double date and call on the ugliest bastard I know. I look good, the friend gets out of the way (hopefully) and my ugly-ass friend already owes me quite a debt.

Agreed, if you don't have alpha friends and hot girls in you're immediate friend group, go rogue.

Having some ugly or fat chicks tagging along is just as bad as betas.

If you dont want to be the alpha, be mysterious.

In a theoretical group you have the alpha, the betas, and the mysterious lone ranger. The alpha calls the shots, the betas follow, and the lone ranger does what ever the hell he wants, the lone ranger is HIS OWN ALPHA.

The lone ranger makes his own decisions, he doesn't follow orders, he is not beta, he is his own man, he is an alpha who doesnt need betas to be alpha. He's a true independent.

I stumbled across this in three ways. 1: I accidentally became the "lone ranger" in a group and it reaped rewards I never thought possible, chicks seemed mesmerized by my unorthodox decision making, it intrigued them. 2: Ive seen other guys pull it off really well. 3: One of best friends (female) always seems to go for this type.

So you don't have to be THE alpha, just be YOUR OWN alpha. It's mysterious.
