In the past whenever a girl asks how many girls I've slept with, I've always gave the indirect response of "I don't know, I don't really keep track" and then they usually push it where I answer indirectly "It doesn't matter, I don't like to talk about my past".

Lol I actually did make a few jokes out of it last night. If it's cuddle talk, I imagine you tell her the truth though. If you say 30 though, she'll probably ask the next question, "Why have you slept with so many?" And if she doesn't ask it, she'll be thinking about it. Give her an answer to that whether she asks or not.
