The fact that she is in a relationship is not even bothering me. It's the fact that I could have been that guy, if I was there just a little earlier. And I HAD the opportunity to be there earlier. She really wanted to go out with me several times but I kept rejecting her because I was still pissed over that she chose that other guy over me last time too - and lied about it.

And when I finally decided to reconnect with her, it took her 2-3 days to fall in love with this other guy, leaving me in the same situation as last time. And again, pissing me off because she is not being honest about it.

Do you mean that if I focus on me (and I am currently attempting to be in that process) for that month or two, that I will realize a thing or two about myself which will change my mind about this girl/girls like these?

Listen dude i am not trying to put you down and relive the past, but i do want you, and you probably do, to understand an important lesson that will help you in the future. When dealing with quality women (hotties or women with value), in other words the top 1% of women, you will always be competing with other dudes, they may bring it up in convo. or not(they don't have to tell you), but you still have to go through the fundamentals, remember we are secret society members which is a small 1% minority or less, that in itself sets you apart. Yeah I've read those articles and watched everything by Tyler. He's actually one of my biggest inspirations.

Anyway, I was lucky to have my FWB pay a visit to this country so I've been preoccupied with her for some time now.

She's left the country but I'm already genuinely interested in another woman so we'll see how it goes.

UPDATE

Started running 3 times a week for 20 minute shifts. Before this I hadn't had physical exercise for over 3 years and it was about time I got into shape.

I can probably run for more than 20 but my diaphragm starts hurting because it has not been trained in a long time, so I'm taking it easy.

New goals

1. Cut out white carbs from diet.
2. Buy weights to lift at home while keeping up with the jogging.

^Both of which I've set that I need to make happen by the beginning of May.

Hello, I be back.

Haven't been active for a long time since I had to finish my documentary and other exams.

My feelings for that woman are practically gone - though it still goes up and down from time to time. I randomly dreamt about her a couple of nights ago.

Now that I have a little more time on my hands, I want to start focusing on self development again, so here is my update:

Goal

~ Stay in touch with people and push for meetings
a) There's too many people that I get in contact with, but never do anything about it. I will ask them all, one by one, to go on a coffee with me so we can strengthen our bonds.
b) Whenever I'm out with any of these people and they introduce me to a couple of new friends - I will always push to find at least 1 interesting person in the group and get that person's contact info - and repeat A


As for my longer term goals - I will get in depth about them by the end of August, because right now I just want to spend my summer socializing and working on my new screenplay.

UPDATE

I've certainly managed to reach the goals written above. The little push I've made to be more social has had a very positive impact on my life. Especially now that the film festival is over and I feel almost overwhelmed with the things that I have done, the people I've met, and the movies I've watched.

Since I got 3 exams to finish, I won't be focusing too much more on my social life, but maybe find a smaller hobby to do in between the studies.

I started listening more and more to Afrikaan's music which is growing significantly more popular both in Europe and the States. Die Antwoord have inspired me to learn how to speak Afrikaans, which is apparently very easy to learn in the first place . . . Especially if you have general knowledge of either German or Dutch.

So my next goal is to learn some basic Afrikaan for the next 7 days, each day spending at least half an hour reviewing some basic phrases, grammar or pronounciations.
