Girls generally like bad boys, but do they like felons? I have a felony for arson. I hit the bricks a year ago and am on parole with about 30 more months to do. Should I ever reveal any of this?

As long as you've got your shit together now, there is no reason to lie about your past if they ask....

Thanks, but would it ever make sense to bring it up? When I was inside, guys would talk about previous times they had gotten out and been perceived as having higher value (not their words) with women for having done time. Like much talk on the yard, though, this may have just been exaggeration. I'm a white college student with no tats (not usually a situation associated with bad boys) so the idea is that being known as a felon might give me more of an edge to balance my mainly academic lifestyle. Has anyone tried revealing a felony?

The whatever is your reason just don't mention it to girls, they don't have to know that.
People pick on that!
Now i understand the why of your other topic about getting friends, mate you did shit to society so society doesn't want you back, but as I've said i'm not here to judge you.

So by this, yes you should avoid talk about that to girls, i don't think any girl would ask you if you ever commit a crime, if they do, just say: Yes i've made some crazy shit without thinking on it, if i was back in time i wouldn't do it. then she asks you what was and then you say what happened but don't give it detail and don't show any kind of enthusiasm, try to get worried about it then change topics.

So yeh, girls like bad guys, they don't like felons.
The meaning of a badboy is: They don't care about girls or their feelings they just want to fuck them. Also they don't respect them. that's it!

No one knows about the felony, so it's not an issue for making friends. I fit in well at school and elsewhere, but want to improve so that I'm more of a leader and/or have more charisma.
Thanks for your thoughts.

There are many ways to demonstrate that you have leadership and charisma.

Telling people about your arson felony is not one of them.

I wouldn't mention it. The talk about the yard refers to real "bad boys", the ones covered in tats and spend all day pumping iron in the yard, hanging with affiliated gang members, not a college guy. The women who chase these men should also be avoided as well, some of them have a mental sickness, like the one woman I saw on TV who only dated convicts, and enjoyed being physically abused and had a thing for men who looked like Charles Manson because she was abused as a kid. There was also the young woman who dated Drew Peterson, after he was being investigated for the three wives who mysteriously died or disappeared before her. Some also do it to piss off daddy for whatever reason. The rest of them are looking for someone with gang affiliation, mainly to be "one of the bitches" who goes out with them to party and do massive amounts of hard drugs for free or very little cost or other favors in return, which I have personally seen at work.
