So these look like IM's - do you have better luck that way than email?

Typically IM is always better for creating attraction. I almost 90% numberclosed if I do IM. However, for some reason, in my town, most of the POF IM won't work bc women are spammed with all the pathetic horndogs on there, they never turned on the IM chat. OKCupid is a little better, but not a lot of them have the IM on either.

AFCtothemax, how good is your phone game? Also, how good are your dating skills and escalation skills? Online game will only dictate whether you get a number. Just like in a bar or club, getting a number only leads to dates and sex if you have phone game, comfort, and escalation game.

I wish I could tell you whether YOU will get laid from online dating, however, I have met different guys that do online dating and each guy gets different results. I've seen amazing guys and I've seen some guys that get nothing. You have to take a step into the unknown and dedicate yourself.

Honestly, I no longer count my lays, dates, and makeouts, etc. I just live in the moment and attract women into my life.
