I got into PUA 18 months ago because I was frustrated with my inability to score with legit hotties(real 8's and 9's) consistantly despite being above average looking and putting a lot of effort into it.

I have been working the doors for a long time now and been observing the field just as much as any of the hardcore guys here. I'm paid to watch the fucking dancefloor. I have seen more rejections than you can think of. I barely ever see a hot woman being pulled from the club by a complete stranger from a cold approach. When it happens, the guys dont fit the RSD stereotype. Are they the guys who are "having the most fun in the club"? Dancing silly, clapping hands and shouting "I'm awesome"? Did they listen to self-esteem tapes on their way to work and watch DVD's on how to get rid of approach anxiety?

No. They usually have other things going for them. Let's list what I have found the guys who pulled HOTTIES very often had in common.

-High status/high social proof in the venue: have you ever seen a celebrity entering a nightclub? Do you know what you are talking about when you mention "rockstar success"? I can tell you a top soccer player stepping on a dancefloor has a mindblowing effect theses guys actually can get laid with nearly whoever they want by just poiting the girl and clicking their fingers. No hyperbole.
Club owners and even club staff have a huge edge over you. They have a big social proof and are figures of authority in the venue. I dont understand why PUA's dont try to inflitrate nightclubs this is the only thing some of you could actually pull off and get success from. But you usually need connections and good looks to be accepted in this industry.


-Male model-tier good looks: If you dont believe looks are a crucial part of cold approach you are incredibly delusional and brainwashed.

The reality is that pick up is only a number's game and that you are much more likely to pick up average and below average women than hotties because hotties know their value on the dating market. I have met people who have helped me build a better life for myself. With out learning pick up... I probably would not have been able to do that.

If you want to achieve the "money and status" part... Which don't get me wrong, they are important as far as woman wanting to be in a serious relationship with you, but you can WORK TO GET THEM. Which is also what pick up teaches you... That NOTHING OF VALUE IN LIFE COMES EASY! YOU HAVE TO GET OFF YOUR ASS AND WORK FOR IT! See, the problem is, when you started "studying pick-up," you were looking for a fucking magic pill that would make women for some reason want you... If that's your case, again, you're an idiot for even falling for it. Are there certain attraction switches in a woman's emotions that once activated, she won't have a choice to feel attraction towards you? Yes. Is there a certain way type of man that women respond better to? Yes. Can you learn how to be that guy? Yes. Don't hate WAPFTW just because you disagree with him.
