There is a ton of amazing content on this forum and I'm blown away by some of the awesome stories.

Let me introduce myself.

I'm a 33 year old white male, a little below average height (5'8"), overweight ~240 but working on it. I live right outside of Cincinnati. Given these items I would classify myself as average looking.

I do have a lot going for me in that I have a very high income ($500K+/year), a fantastic house that impresses every woman that walks through the door , brand new 911 turbo. I do not have a formal education but I am extremely well traveled (4 continents and over 40 countries) and cultured. I own a very profitable IT company that is growing by leaps and bounds. I hope to be acquired by a big player in the next few years. Despite being a "computer guy" I would not label myself as awkward, creepy or weird. I have plenty of friends and many of them are fairly attractive women but most are married/taken/out of the question.

I have never been married, no children either. Just got out of a long term relationship (6 years) and before that I was in another long term relationship for almost five years. Not a ton of dating really I've just skipped from women to woman. I'm done with that shit and I'm looking to enjoy life now.

My biggest issue is I've never really been in a situation where I had to talk to women or pick them up. I always met women with a soft introduction from a friend or we met through school or something like that. I know that I have a lot of strong assets and I want to learn how to accentuate them as well as leverage the techniques from pros such as the guys on this forum.

I would really appreciate some advise on where to start or how to develop my skills. I straight up suck at opening conversations with women that I don't know.

Welcome to the community man!!

Here is a bunch of my notes that I've gathered over the years and turned into a vicious thread. Check it out. Hopefully it will point you in the right direction!! Let me know if you have any questions and I will be happy to help.

Dude what an awesome list. Thank you so much.

I would love to hear anything else you have to share.

My biggest question I guess is do you have specific guidance that would help me build on my strengths and take focus off of any perceived negatives.
