When you invite someone to something, make sure it's something that already has a set date and time.
Instead of a vague "would you like to come to a hockey game with me sometime," try more along the lines of, "there's this awesome hockey game I'm really excited about on Saturday. It starts at 7:30, would you like to join me?"
The first way (the way that you did), you showed interest but did not have a plan.
Show interest and have a plan, this is what it means to lead.
I took your advice and asked twice for 2 separate times and waited a week in-between txts.
She was working the first time. The second time I got no response over txt. but then she confirmed when I saw her,so I txted her to see if we were still on a few days later she had to take someone's shift and I know its not a lie because we work together. She did say I really want to go to a game soon though. There were no more games so I said how about we grab a drink and watch the game? and I got no response again. To me it sounds bad reading this but the first time I got no response she confirmed with me in person and just said sorry shes so busy that she reads them and forgets to txt back.
should I keep on asking? I don't feel like it's annoying her because its literally a week in-between txts and she does show interest. It just frustrates the hell out of me when she doesn't answer my texts.
any advice on a different approach?
