Been dating this girl for 8 months and basically in a relationship. I see her 2 times a week most of the time, 3 max. After we see each other I don't text her for a day or two and sometimes let her initiate. She knows I have plans and work during the week.

But some weekends, like last weekend, it goes like this:

Fri- Hang out with her at night/went to a party with her
Sat-See her a bit during the day at work (same place but not same dept.) then have plans away from her at night
Sun-See her at work again then hang out with her because it is convenient

Now during the week it can go 2-3 days or more sometimes without seeing each other and I am NOT the type of guy who texts constantly. AKA when we text, I wait 30 min to an hour or more in an unpredictable manner and treat them more like tiny emails.

In this wayI was wondering if it is anti-challenge to see her at work, even though she knows I am not seeking her out but rather bumping into her because we have to be there

Are you challenging her with time, or with other things too? (conversation, etc.)

I think if you naturally do your thing, you will be challenging anyway. For example, if you are busy, you won't be checking your phone constantly and you will text when you are able to. Forcing yourself to be challenging when you aren't doing anything is a bit try hard. In my opinion. If you want to talk to her then you talk to her. If you feel like not talking to her then don't.
