As if you couldn't tell from the subject line, I was wondering if anyone out there wanted to share some "text openers" if you have any. I have the girls number but I don't want to sound like a total AFC when I text her.

I was thinking of saying something like, “Hey! I really miss you and want to see you badly but this dumbass security guard won’t let me into the zoo. Can you escape?”

Or something like, “I just saw something that reminded me of you.”

Do you guys think those would work? Do you have any other openers I could use in a text message?

The best text game (re)openers are based on something you and the girl did or say in the initial meeting.

When y'all first met (whether online or in person), what did y'all talk about?

Your text opener should be based on that. If y'all met at the zoo, then an opener about the zoo would be fitting and correct.
