This post made me laugh because it's so damn true. The sad thing is the end of the post, because you know that motherfucker won't give up on that one girl until she tells him to never speak to her again. haha. Even after that, they still don't give up hope!

Ahh hope, a human's greatest strength and greatest weakness all at the same time. Love it.

What I don't understand is why you all agree and think that everyone on here is full of shit, or stupid and the only people that are any good, are the ones that tell guys to move on instead of giving advice on how to do better in the future. If you guys think so poorly of the posting around here, why do you stay? Do you feel like you don't learn or grow from reading and posting in threads?

Honestly in the past month when I first started becoming an active member here; the thing I admired about most of the people on the forums was their ability to cut their loses find out what they did wrong and fix it. I was the type of AFC that would use alcohol as liquid courage to talk to even HB6's now I am able to just walk into a place and within 2 minuets be able to have on girl on each arm.

Everybody here comes from different walks of life. Some still in high school, others have been around for a while. The fact of the matter is if it weren't for the collective advise available here the majority of us would not have overcome our social shyness, our inability to talk to strangers.

And this is just me over analyzing the fourth reply to the original post. But the chicken who lost his way and eventually found his way back home fits; because, if (let's say this happened to you) the girl slapped you and kicked you in the balls. She obviously felt threatened but you. You could freeze her out, granted she didn't kick you out, go to the bathroom... check yourself, come back out and initiate kino and tell her that you like it physical. Bite her on the neck and try to kiss again. Just my two cents. But what do I know I'm full of shit ;)

Yeah: do better in the future after you've moved on. What I find slightly distasteful is the fact that those guys read, read, read (somethimes not even that, because most good books tell you straightaway that this is a numbers game) and expect to execute a one-shot, one-kill superb pickup on the one girl they've always wanted but have been LJBFd by. And finally, if the girl has known you forever, there's probably a lot of stuff going on there, which the rAFC is either unaware of or simply decides not to post. In the light of insufficient information, I wouln't expect anyone to be able to give me any advice of real value.

If, however, you have problems picking up new women, then hey, that's what we all do, everyone's been there, everyone knows what the situation is. Describe what's going on and hopefully someone will pinpoint what's wrong and help you out. But posts that start with 'so there's this ONE girl I lke' make me sad, because my browser is slow and everytime I visit a thread like that, I inevitably see ten (or so) seconds of my life flicker away...

Don't get me wrong, I do not think this forum is worthless. But for every one good thread there's at least ten of the sort Thug was describing. Frankly, sometimes I feel like digging for diamonds at a dumpster.

Thug: can you elaborate on the 'internet is fake' remark? Because some advice I've gotten here was GOLD and very, very real.

Roads: I have nothing but respect for you from here on in :D There was a second there when I thought you may have been for real - what a laugh that would have been ;-)

I think we got that this thread is a parody, but the question does still remain of . . . if people think this forum is so bad . . .

And yes, there ARE a lot of junk threads in the main lounge. That's one purpose of the mPUA lounge. It cuts out most of that junk.

At the same time, THOSE questions are what brings MOST guys to this forum. SOME of those guys will actually learn while they are here, which is the whole purpose of the forum.

We will never "catch" all of the guys. And we don't really want to.

Sure, you can take-away and walk away and move onto the next one and cut your losses, those are both good options, but if you aren't discussing WHY and HOW you went wrong, then you won't know any better for next time. It is helpful to give in depth responses and understand why things happened the way they did, so that you can not run into the same issues next time. He made it sound like offering up any detailed info was a waste of time.

LOL, no kidding man! That's what makes this free country so great. Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one, and they usually stink! No offense to anyone on the forum but you are completely right. In honesty in the example you gave above the clear choice is to move on, although there are lessons to be learned from the mistakes.
I'll quote myself. There is a lot of truth in the statement this "parody" thread made. However, like Rye Lee said there is always something to learn from your interactions, and your mistakes.

That sounded like the beginning of a very beautiful, unreciprocated, gay love affair. Lol. :P

You know I can appreciate you adding your comments to everyone's posts. It's a forum and its your right to comment. Instead of making comments why don't you try to help some people. Give them some of your great knowledge that you have! Help some people who aren't as good as you to get better.

You're on the forum enough, try and help some guys out using constructive feedback. That's where you praise them for things they did correctly, and be objective about their weaker points, if you didn't know.

I joined the community to not only learn from the community, but also to give back to the guys who are helping me build the lifestyle I deserve.
