For a newbie then the "superficial" signs are a way of identifying the girls most receptive for game till the PUA achieves a skill level where he can attract women regardless. The signs are guidelines not mathematical proofs which always hold true, they're indicators that a girl is in a sexually receptive state. Some would say that it's the PUA's job to get the girl into a sexually receptive state and that's true. Whats also true is that a girl already in that state is easier to game. On a side note I've been out gaming with guys who won't approach a girl unless she's displaying these signs and using it as a way to give themselves an excuse for not approaching as they still have some AA. This is not a good idea. Once you achieve a certain level of skill then ALL girls should be classed as sexually receptive till proven otherwise and the signs would only be utilised if a PUA had a choice to make between them and both were of equal merit, in which case the "signs" girl would be chosen.
