Wrote back to me that I am a bit older than the guys she usually dates (25 vs 34) and that she was online mainly to meet new people to explore Paris with. She is an American expatriate going to grad school in the city. Still, she asked me if I wanted to "go out sometime or grab a drink".

So naturally, I bit back too and said yes. Have been playing chat-tag for a week. She gave me her phone number and connected with me on Facebook. Have been texting niceties back and forth for the past week while she has been in London for a conference. Well, she is back and wants to meet up this Wednesday around 9. Location unknown.

Should I be more aggressive in my texts or saying certain things to let her know that I am more interested in meeting her to hook up at this point or should I be playing it cool and low until I get to meet her? Everything we have exchanged thus far has been related to her studies, life and generalities.

Also, she is looking for an internship in my career field and I can easily set that up. When should I / shouldn't I bring that up without looking like a creep?

So, the night went well, better than I expected and I have another date setup for this weekend.

Picked her up from school, walked her to a relatively pricey restaurant / bar up the road where we sat facing one another. Had a cocktail, appetizer and a dinner. Kissed her across the table after playing kino with her hands and rings. Decided to stay a bit longer for more drinks, just long enough for the metros to close and we needed to share a cab home. She paid for her half of the dinner too.

Ended up making out with her the ride back to her place. Got as far as her inner thigh until she lightly brushed me off, so, I made out with her some more until she let me move my hands back up there.

Then, the taxi arrived. Asked her if she needed company walking home but she assured me that she would be fine with the police so nearby along the route then insisted we get together on Saturday for a party I invited her to earlier.

I left it at that.

Overall, a good evening. Back in the game and loving it!

Getting mixed signals from this girl now. She arranged a date with me on Saturday, rescheduled it for Sunday due to some friend's crisis and then, today (Sunday), cancelled it with the excuse that she had a lot of school work to do and that she wouldn't be able to get it all done if we went out so she was cancelling.

Chatted with her on Facebook about it and she said that she would let me know her availability soon for this week.

Am I getting brushed off and if so, should I even bother pursuing her further?

Well done on the quick escalation. Wish someone had told me that before I started OKC. I've only had one decent date, and fucked it up because I didn't escalate.

But yeah, her interest isn't that high, be sure to curb your investment and continue looking elsewhere. I have a feeling that these online girls are looking for a lot of this "love at first sight" kind of nonsense, and when they get several messages every day from available guys their ego goes through the roof.
