I'm hoping one or more of you guys can help me with this.
So... there's a girl I've had this on & off thing with for about a year.
We've kissed a few times and we nearly got into a relationship but she got cold feet.

We hadn't seen each other for a while and eventually I saw her on a night out and she was flirting like crazy. I was teasing her all night and eventually she made the move for a kiss but I backed out and then teased her for trying it on with me.

I dunno where it's going but she messaged me out of the blue tonight.
She said "let's start 2013 with a new years resolution "
Now my gut feeling is that the message is about being 'friends' and staying in contact more often.
I don't want to be a sucker. The message was about 3 hours ago and I haven't responded.
I was thinking of responding later saying "Hey (nickname), New Years Resolutions? Sounds good. Let's do that " but is that crap?
Any ideas what I could say?

you can lead the conversation wherever you want it to go...she basically gave you a theme to work with. A New Years Resolution is usually a lifestyle change so think of how you can spin it where it involves the two of you ..

BTW - I heard she was seeing a guy recently (hadn't f/k-closed yet!!)... so surprised she messaged me

Having read my latest reply I can see why she may have contacted me.
