Please read the whole thing, and please help by Wednesday 11/7/12:

The first week i attended Trig i saw this gurl who looked really good. She turns her quiz in and i'm still finishing up mine. I turn my quiz in and i notice she was still there. I start packing up my things and she is continuing to fiddle with her things for a really long time (she only has to put away a calculator and a pencil.) I pay attention to her without being obvious, and as soon as i zip my bag up and head for the door, she also picks her things up and is right behind me. Sort of like she wants me to say something/approach her. As we descend down the stairs she is right on my ass. Okay, not really an IOI, but she was done atleast 5 minutes before me and she stayed until i left the room, and we were like the first people done. Just an observation.

Then i notice this same girl sits directly behind me and has like perfect view of me, but again, that could just be what she was left with for seats on those particular days.

So then i move back a few rows in like the 3rd week of class and she was out that day, and the next day she sat right next to me. So within a week she tries to plug in her charger right under my seat and its not working out because i'm sitting right above the outlet, so i move and i ask if she needs me to plug it in, and she keeps trying and then she starts blushing and hands it to me without saying much, and i could really not understand what she was saying, so i plug it in and it doesnt work, and we try another outlet, then i ask her if she wants to plug it into my pc, and she just ignores me. But its understandable to not want your phone in a strangers computer, but i was just curious to see what she would say.

So pretty much weeks go by where she is just sitting there and sometimes she will make a little moan/yawn sound with her mouth closed. No clue what that is, but it sounds like a moan. And today i walked into class like 5 minutes before it finished, she made eye contact with me, looked away and then i sat down while the teacher busted my balls. So i asked her if there was anything else besides what was already on the board, and i'm looking at her thinking she can't hear me and she is looking at the board and she then responds to me super delayed and says that there was a few things she had on the board but it was all pretty easy. So i tell her i would like to copy it down next class, if she could bring it for me. and she didn't say much after that. But this i feel is the biggest IOI, she is normally the first one out the door since we both sit near the door and today she hung around and was the last person to leave the class, i'm guessing the small exchange got her wanting to talk a bit more, anyway i didn't leave cause i have another class in the same room and i just sat there and paid attention to her pack her things up slow as hell and then leave.

I'm not sure about this girl. I've had girls that haven't made much eye contact with me and talked very low and not interested in what i'm saying go on day 2s. So she could probably be shy, or just trying to play not interested. But there is no getting around the "lingering" shit she does sometimes and the way she blushed at me when she couldn't put the charger in the outlet.

Anyway, i atleast set myself up to ask her for those notes next class. Its not like i haven't tried some dialogue with her already, sometimes i'll answer the questions she asks the teacher and she will just ignore me. I think it seems like she isn't interested in me. But honestly, when a girl comes on to me, i used to do all these same stupid little things when i was younger. I will ignore them because i'm to scared to say something, i won't make much eye contact and i'll try to position myself near them so they can say something to me, and hopefully i'll have something good to say back.


But yea, i'm thinking of just asking for the notes, asking her what her name was again(i know it), introducing myself and shaking her hand, then i will try to get her number after class and a day 2


help me out, i think this girl likes me in some wierd shy girl way...

so i think i will ask her for those notes, introduce myself properly and get her name aswell, then what?

I could ask questions about the notes, but that is really not getting me anywhere, besides boring her. I need something to get her to open up, or to talk about. Or i have to find some way to easily transition to talking with her in class to after class. I don't want to follow her out the class in a creepy fashion, but i do want to talk to her after class as well.

Also, i was thinking at some point of saying "we should get coffee", not really asking, just putting it out there. Doesnt make me chase her, but i guess it puts enough out there for her to make a decision. Then if she is open to it, with a maybe or sure, i'll get her number and i'll work from there.

it seems like you are looking for very specific things to say...that is ok to an extent. if you need an opener there are tons of good ones on here...depending on how she reacts toss in a neg...then just have a normal conversation with her...if she is responsive try to escalate even if only a little and establish some kino if possible.....then telling her you should get a coffee or something along those lines is a good move

Well i am just gonna tell her we should have coffee, judge her opinion on that, and then ask for her number..

As for the small talk i have no idea what to say.

okay, so i did get those notes, i got her to open up a little bit and i walked with her out of class and i did notice she was smiling a bit.

But as we walked down the stairs i was running out of things to say and it got SUPER AWKWARD!

Me: "Omg, this class is getting difficult, i haven't even done any of my homework" (i have an 88)
Her: "I did it all"
Me: "yea i got to get started soon, so whats you name?"
Her: "johara" *in sexy latina voice*
Me: "what was that?" (i just wanted to hear her say it again lol)
Her: again she repeats her name in sexy voice
Me: "oo, i'm matt, so you have class after this?"
Her: yea
Me: okay, i'll talk to you later
*we go down the next few flight of stairs again together*
Me: i guess we are going the same way lol
Her: yea
then we get to the second floor and i go left to keep going down the stairs and she got off at that floor and i was on her right and we both come walking into each other, and she said "ooohh!" and like got on her tippy toes and did a little startled jump movement before we almost collided

So basically i froze up, didn't ask her for coffee, or to study, or for her number. I just had no idea how to keep a flowing conversation.

She said more then just "yea", i just can't remember what it was lol, i was way to nervous to recall, at least i smiled a lot and showed my teeth/smile and i was dressed nice, i hope that saves my ass

She smiled also and made eye contact and that shit threw me off,

So next period is a test, so there will be pretty much no talking. I really would like to know anything i can about small talk, i have been reading some stuff, but anything else would help, i wonder if i should ask her to wait for me after class or something
