This is especially the case in this day of age, due to male disposability and feminism. Men are told no longer to be masculine, as it is seen as a bad thing, where as in reality, people react to it positively especially women. Hence why there are all these nice guys who don't understand what they are doing wrong, why because no one tells them, they constantly get walked all over and keep on being nice, because thats what the movies and education system tells them. The world is unforgiving out there for males, thats why you have to be a man.

Definitely. At a biological, primitive level, women still crave a manly man despite what the media portrays.

The community has been about fclosing every girl you come across. Luckily that has changed, it wasnt very healthy.

As to what Snarg said, parents teach their kids to be good people. Sadly that is the ticket to a lot of misery and suffering in many cases. Be polite and be honest and be decent, yeah, thats all good qualities in a man, IF he also knows how not to. Many people get taught that and only that. Thats the only thing they know so they never learn to tell others to back off or to repect their rules too. Most nice guys play by other peoples rules because that is the polite thing to do, dont make a fuzz and dont overstep your boundries. Awesome, that works if everyone thought like that. But they dont.

Other parents teach their kids to be self assured and confident. That their needs are as important as anyone elses. They know how to interact with others and keep their own personal space intact.

Of course, if your solution to conflict is to flip over onto your back like a dog and show submission, you arent gonna fight much at school but you are gonna be walked all over for the rest of you life. If on the other hand you are gonna take a few fights at school, you are gonna learn how to handle yourself and the rest of your life will be easier to handle.

That was exactly how I was brought up. Even though my parents taught me to be polite and nice, I had a wild personality as a kid and that made me attractive throughout my school years, I had probably 4-5 girls come up to me and confess to liking me and that's between 6th-9th grade (4 years). I fell into a hell hole after my sophomore year in high school because of low grades and lost A LOT of confidence, I became a "pussy" and "emotional sponge" which is what my parents taught me.

Because of that, I had 0 girls approach me from then until I started PUA (which is a good 5 years). Started PUA and in less than a year I got 2 girls giving my heavy IOIs, one that confessed to liking me and another girl that I turned into a GF for a while.

Now, the nice guy upbringing can have good sides too. Generally if a girl falls for a guy like that, she sticks around, it works in a relationship. The problem is that those guys never get the chance to get girlfriends because the initial attraction needed just isnt there.

Don't give up bro, there are far men out there who did far worse. My cousin for example is 34 years old and probably still virgin. And he's plain boring to listen. Man, even I have more success then he has. Does that mean he will stay that? It depends. If he has that moment of: F*ck this, i'm gonna go and meet girls, from that moment he can change his life. This community is most life changing. Not just on pick-up, it's an overall life change.

For example: If you get walked over by your boss, and be nice all the time, your life will suck. But if you show him that you are someone with value, and step up for it, you might be fired, but then you won't have someone who keeps walking all over you.
